Roasting up a few heads of garlic to have in the fridge is one of the most simple ways to add a new level of flavour into your favourite meals. By roasting the garlic, you decrease that strong classic garlic taste, and instead create a more subtle and rich flavour profile perfect for adding to charcuterie boards, savoury dishes, sauces, salad dressings, soups, and so much more!
What you will need:
- 2-4 garlic whole garlic heads
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
Prep Time: 5 minutes ◊ Cook Time: 40 minutes
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Slice off the top of each garlic head to expose the bulbs inside and place on a piece of tin foil, with exposed bulbs facing up.
- Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 40 minutes until garlic is tender and brown. Set aside to cool. Keep refrigerated in an air-tight container for up to 2 weeks.
