Whole Roasted Garlic

IMG-7020

Roasting up a few heads of garlic to have in the fridge is one of the most simple ways to add a new level of flavour into your favourite meals. By roasting the garlic, you decrease that strong classic garlic taste, and instead create a more subtle and rich flavour profile perfect for adding to charcuterie boards, savoury dishes, sauces, salad dressings, soups, and so much more!

What you will need:

  • 2-4 garlic whole garlic heads
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

Prep Time: 5 minutes  ◊  Cook Time: 40 minutes

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Slice off the top of each garlic head to expose the bulbs inside and place on a piece of tin foil, with exposed bulbs facing up.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 40 minutes until garlic is tender and brown. Set aside to cool. Keep refrigerated in an air-tight container for up to 2 weeks.
