Balsamic Steak Marinade

Keep things exciting and extra flavourful with this terrific steak marinade. Perfect for flank, striploin or even flat iron steaks. Whichever cut you are grilling up, be sure to try this quick-to-make marinade. Let rest and absorb for up to 24 hours to really maximize the flavour of your steaks!

What you will need:

  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soya sauce
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • ½ tsp. red chilli flakes
  • fresh cracked pepper

Directions:

Prep Time: 5 minutes  –  Marinade Time: 3-24 hours

  1. Add all ingredients to a small bowl and whisk together until well combined. Place steaks in a large ziplock bag, pour marinade over meat and store in the fridge for 3-24 hours for optimal flavour. Flip ziplock bag over approx halfway through marinating time to ensure even distribution.
